About Coceth-25
Coceth-25 is the polyethylene glycol ether of coconut alcohol, where R is a fatty alcohol derived from coconut oil and n is an average of 25.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed and to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
