About Cocamidopropyl Dimethylammonium C8-16 Isoalkylsuccinyl Lactoglobulin Sulfonate

Cocamidopropyl Dimethylammonium C8-16 Isoalkylsuccinyl Lactoglobulin Sulfonate is the cocamidopropyl dimethylammonium salt of sulfonated lactoglobulin reacted with alkyl-substituted succinic anhydride.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, reduce tangling and rough feel for smoother hair conditioning, and leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
