About Cocamide Mipa

Cocamide MIPA is primarily a mixture of isopropanolamides of coconut fatty acids.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly blended, help prevent water-and-oil emulsions from separating easily, and increase the amount of foam and help it persist. It is also used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to adjust a formula’s viscosity and flow.[2] [2]
