About Cistus Species Resin Oil
Cistus Species Resin Oil is an oil composed primarily of oil-soluble constituents.[1] Because it is centered on fatty constituents obtained from Cistus species resin, it mixes more readily with oil than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to the skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. The more evenly it mixes into the oil phase, the more smoothly it tends to spread without skipping during application and the more likely it is to leave a supple feel after drying. In cosmetics, it is used to add fragrance to products or adjust the characteristic odor of raw materials.[1]
