About Cinnamomum Cassia Branch/Honeysuckle Flower/(Arctium Lappa/Schisandra Chinensis Fruit)/Paeonia Suffruticosa Root/Elsholtzia Ciliata Extract
Cinnamomum Cassia Branch/Honeysuckle Flower/(Arctium Lappa/Schisandra Chinensis Fruit)/Paeonia Suffruticosa Root/Elsholtzia Ciliata Extract can be described as an extract of cassia branches, honeysuckle flowers, burdock and Schisandra fruit; during extraction, multiple components are transferred together, making it closer to a complex ingredient than a single compound. Depending on the extraction conditions, the proportions of the components and the color and scent of the finished ingredient may also vary.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen, manage oiliness caused by sebum and scalp or skin condition, and reduce friction on the skin or hair to add a smooth feel.[2] It is also used to draw moisture into the formula and the skin’s surface to help maintain a moisturized feel and to leave the skin’s surface soft and smooth.[2] It is extracted from peony root and the whole herb of Elsholtzia ciliata.[1]
