About Cinnamomum Cassia Bark Oil
Cinnamomum Cassia Bark Oil is a volatile oil obtained from the bark of cinnamon.[1] Volatile constituents obtained from the bark contribute to the fragrance's initial impression and lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more lightly than ordinary botanical oils. In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit microbial growth, slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen, and reduce plaque buildup on tooth surfaces.[2] It is also used to manage oiliness caused by sebum and scalp or skin condition, add flavor and fragrance to lip or oral-care products, and prevent the characteristic odor or taste of raw materials from becoming too prominent.[2]
