About Chlorphenesin
Chlorphenesin is an individual ingredient used in cosmetics.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and to slow spoilage during storage by inhibiting microbial growth in the product.[4] In Korea, it may be used at up to 0.3% in finished cosmetic products.[2] In Europe, up to 0.3% is permitted when used as a preservative.[3]
