About Chlorella Vulgaris Methionyl Sh-Polypeptide-14 Hexapeptide-40

Chlorella Vulgaris Methionyl Sh-Polypeptide-14 Hexapeptide-40 is a peptide obtained by fusing Sh-Polypeptide-14 and Hexapeptide-40, with methionine as the start codon, to a single-chain recombinant human protein obtained by transformation using a transient expression system or a gene-transfer method that stably inserts a copy of a human gene.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit the growth of microorganisms; to slow the oxidation of formulation ingredients caused by their reaction with oxygen; and to provide a temporarily tightening, astringent feel on the skin or scalp.[2] It is also used to help keep water-and-oil emulsions from separating easily; to reduce hair tangling and roughness for smoother conditioning; and to protect the skin from external factors.[2]
