About Carboxymethyl Hydroxypropyl Guar
Carboxymethyl Hydroxypropyl Guar is the propylene glycol ether sodium salt of carboxymethyl guar.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help ingredients in a formulation bind together and maintain its form, prevent emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and give liquid formulations a gel-like form and viscosity.[2] It is also used to adjust the viscosity and flow properties of formulations.[2]
