About Carboxybutyl Chitosan
Carboxybutyl Chitosan is the carboxybutyl ether of chitosan.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of skin, hair, and nails after application; reduce tangling and rough texture for smoother hair; and leave the skin's surface soft and smooth.[2] It is also used to control the viscosity and flow of formulas.[2]
