About Carbomer

Carbomer is a homopolymer of acrylic acid cross-linked with allyl ethers of pentaerythritol, sucrose, or propylene.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help keep emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, give liquid formulations a gel-like form and viscosity, and control formulation viscosity and flow.[2]
