About Capsanthin/Capsorubin
Capsanthin/Capsorubin is a pigment with a carotenoid structure obtained by extracting paprika fruit with an organic solvent (an extraction solvent for spice oleoresins), and is an ingredient whose main components are capsanthin-type compounds.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to add color to products or areas of application.[3] In Europe, it may be used to color cosmetics.[2]
