About Capryloyl Keratin Amino Acids
Capryloyl Keratin Amino Acids are condensation products of keratin amino acids and caprylic acid chloride.[1] In cosmetics, they are used to reduce static that causes hair strands to lift or cling together, help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, and reduce tangling and rough texture for smoother hair.[2] They are also used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
