About Caprylic/Capric Glycerides Polyglyceryl-10 Esters
Caprylic/Capric Glycerides Polyglyceryl-10 Esters are esters containing parts derived from acids and alcohols.[1] In cosmetics, they are used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel; to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed; and to help prevent the emulsified mixture of water and oil from separating easily.[1] They are also used to leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth, and to lower surface tension so that ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1]
