About Capramidoethyl Capramidopropyldimonium Methosulfate
Capramidoethyl Capramidopropyldimonium Methosulfate is an interfacial ingredient that acts at the boundary between water and oil.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit microbial growth, reduce static electricity that causes hair strands to lift or cling together, and help sebum and impurities wash away with water.[1] It is also used to reduce the prominence of unpleasant odors, reduce tangling and roughness in hair for a smooth finish, and reduce surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1]
