About Callitris Columellaris Seed Oil
Callitris columellaris seed oil is an oil obtained by pressing the seeds of Callitris columellaris.[1] Because it is mainly composed of fatty components from the seeds, it mixes more readily with oils than with water and is suitable for adding slip and a flexible feel to the skin or hair while reducing the sensation of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reactions with oxygen, smooth hair by reducing tangling and rough feel, and attract moisture to the formula and skin’s surface to help maintain hydration.[2] It is also used to leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth and to protect the skin from external factors.[2]
