About Calcium Undecylenate
Calcium Undecylenate is an organic salt.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to inhibit microbial growth, suppress the growth of microorganisms in products to slow deterioration during storage, and adjust the viscosity and flow of formulas.[3] In Europe, when used as a preservative, it is permitted at up to 0.2% (based on acid content).[2]
