Calcium Peroxide is an inorganic oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to cause reactions that oxidize other ingredients.[3] In Europe, it may be used in hair products, and the amount present or released as hydrogen peroxide in the finished product must not exceed 12% (40 volumes).[2]
