About Calcium Myristate

Calcium Myristate is the calcium salt of myristic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help powder ingredients flow evenly without clumping, keep emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] It is also used to adjust a formulation’s viscosity and flow.[2]
