About C6-10 Alketh-4 Phosphate

C6-10 Alketh-4 Phosphate is a complex mixture of synthetic ethoxylated alcohols containing 6–10 carbon atoms and an average of 4 moles of ethylene oxide, together with esters of phosphoric acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly; to create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly mixed; and to help sebum and impurities wash away with water.[2]
