About C40-60 Alketh-10

C40-60 Alketh-10 is the polyethylene glycol ether of a mixture of synthetic C40-60 alcohols with an average of 10 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
