About C22-24 Alketh-33

C22-24 Alketh-33 is a polyethylene glycol ether of a mixture of synthetic fatty alcohols containing 22–24 carbon atoms and an average of 33 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly, help sebum and impurities wash away with water, and help small amounts of oil-soluble ingredients mix transparently or evenly in the water phase.[2]
