About C14-15 Alketh-12

C14-15 Alketh-12 is the polyethylene glycol ether of a mixture of synthetic fatty alcohols with 14-15 carbon atoms and an average of 12 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
