About C14-15 Alketh-11
C14-15 Alketh-11 is a polyethylene glycol ether of a mixture of synthetic fatty alcohols containing 14–15 carbon atoms, with an average of 11 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed.[2]
