C12-15 Alketh-10 Phosphate is a mixture of esters of C12-15 synthetic ethoxylated alcohols with an average of 10 moles of ethylene oxide and phosphoric acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly, to create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly combined, and to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water.[2]
