About C12-13 Alketh-15
C12-13 Alketh-15 is a polyethylene glycol ether of a synthetic C12-13 fatty alcohol mixture with an average of 15 moles of ethylene oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly, and to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are uniformly mixed.[2]
