About Butyloctyl Beeswax

Butyloctyl Beeswax is an ester of butyloctanol and beeswax acids.[1] Because it is composed primarily of fatty components obtained from the seeds of Butyloctyl Beeswax, it mixes well with oils rather than water and is suitable for adding slip and a supple feel to the skin or hair while reducing the feeling of moisture evaporating quickly. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction and add a smooth feel to the skin or hair, and to leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
