About Butylene Glycol Isostearates
Butylene Glycol Isostearates is a mixture of mono- and diesters of butylene glycol and isostearic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to create emulsified formulations in which water and oil are evenly mixed, help prevent the emulsified state from separating easily, and lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
