About Boesenbergia Pandurata Rhizome Extract
Boesenbergia Pandurata Rhizome Extract is an extract obtained from the rhizomes of fingerroot.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce the formation or visibility of dandruff on the scalp, inhibit microbial growth, and slow the oxidation of formula components caused by reactions with oxygen.[2] It is also used to lighten color on the hair or skin, reduce noticeable unpleasant odors, and reduce friction on the skin or hair while adding a smoother feel.[2] It is used to reduce hair tangling and roughness for smoother manageability, attract moisture to the formula and skin surface to help maintain moisturization, and keep the teeth and oral cavity clean and comfortable.[2]
