Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is a heterocyclic compound.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to leave the skin's surface feeling soft and smooth, reduce changes to products and formula ingredients caused by ultraviolet radiation, and absorb or reflect ultraviolet radiation to reduce the amount reaching the skin.[3] In Europe, it is permitted up to a maximum of 10% when used as a UV filter.[2]
