About Behenic Acid
Behenic Acid is a fatty acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities be washed away with water, create emulsions in which water and oil are evenly mixed, and reduce light transmission so that the contents appear less translucent. It is also used to lower surface tension, allowing raw materials to wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] [2]
