About Behenamine Oxide
Behenamine Oxide is a tertiary amine oxide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and impurities rinse away with water, form foam during use, and help ingredients that do not dissolve readily in water disperse more evenly in the aqueous phase.[2] It is also used to lower surface tension so raw materials can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
