About Baicalin

Baicalin is an organic compound with hydroxyl groups attached at positions 5 and 7 of a flavone structure.[1] The oxidative stability of finished products containing Baicalin is affected not only by the concentration used, but also by the ingredients used with it, the packaging method, and storage conditions involving exposure to light and air. In cosmetics, it is used to slow the oxidation of formula ingredients caused by reaction with oxygen and to leave the skin’s surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
