About Angelica Sinensis Root Oil

Angelica Sinensis Root Oil is a volatile oil obtained from the root of Angelica sinensis.[1] Volatile constituents obtained from the root contribute to the initial impression of the fragrance and the lingering scent after application, and tend to evaporate more lightly than ordinary vegetable oils. In cosmetics, it is used to reduce friction on the skin or hair and add a smooth feel, add flavor and fragrance to lip or oral-care products, and reduce tangling and rough feel in hair for smoother conditioning.[2] It is also used to prevent the characteristic odor or taste of raw materials from becoming too noticeable, add fragrance to products or adjust the characteristic odor of raw materials, and leave the skin surface feeling soft and smooth.[2]
