AMP-Isostearoyl Wheat/Corn/Soy Amino Acids is the aminomethyl propanol salt of the condensation product of isostearic acid chloride and a mixture of amino acids obtained from wheat, corn, and soy proteins.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to leave the skin surface soft and smooth.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content of the finished product is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and the nitrosamine content must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
