About Amp-Isostearoyl Hydrolyzed Elastin

Amp-Isostearoyl Hydrolyzed Elastin is the aminomethyl propanol salt obtained by the condensation reaction of hydrolyzed elastin and isostearic acid chloride.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce tangling and rough feel in hair to smooth it and to smooth and soften the skin surface.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content of finished products is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and nitrosamine content must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
