About Amp-C8-18 Perfluoroalkylethyl Phosphate
AMP-C8-18 Perfluoroalkylethyl Phosphate is an ingredient in the form of a salt composed of an acid and a base.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help keep water-and-oil emulsions from separating easily, to dissolve other raw materials and create a uniform formulation, and to lower surface tension so ingredients can wet, mix, and spread evenly.[1] In Europe, the secondary amine content of the finished product is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and the nitrosamine content must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
