About Amp-Acrylates/Vinyl Isodecanoate Crosspolymer

Amp-Acrylates/Vinyl Isodecanoate Crosspolymer is a crosslinked network polymer in which the repeating units are linked together.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help solid particles or droplets disperse evenly without clumping, help prevent emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and attract moisture to the formula and skin surface to help maintain hydration.[1] It is also used to smooth and soften the skin surface and to control the viscosity and flow of a formula.[1] In Europe, the secondary amine content of finished products is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and nitrosamine content must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
