AMP-Acrylates/Ethylhexyl Acrylate Copolymer is the aminomethyl propanol salt of a copolymer of acrylic acid or one or more of its simple esters with ethylhexyl acrylate.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content of the finished product is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and the nitrosamine content must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
