About Amp-Acrylates/Diacetoneacrylamide Copolymer
AMP-Acrylates/Diacetoneacrylamide Copolymer is the aminomethylpropanol salt of a copolymer of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid or esters of methacrylic acid with diacetoneacrylamide.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to form a thin film on the skin, hair, or nail surface after application and to hold the desired hairstyle in place.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content of the finished product is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and the nitrosamine content must also be no more than 50 μg/kg.[2]
