About Ammonium Thiocyanate
Ammonium Thiocyanate is the ammonium salt of thiocyanic acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce sweat secretion, buffer formulations so that their acidity does not change abruptly, and keep the teeth and oral cavity clean and fresh. It is also used to cause reactions that oxidize other ingredients, cause reactions that reduce other ingredients, and adjust the viscosity and flow of formulations.[2] [2]
