About Ammonium Oleate

Ammonium Oleate is the ammonium salt of oleic acid.[1] Its solubility and charge state vary depending on the salt-forming components and the formula’s acidity, which also affects how it interacts with other raw materials. In cosmetics, it is used to help sebum and dirt rinse away with water, create emulsified formulas in which water and oil are evenly blended, and lower surface tension so raw materials wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2]
