About Ammonium Alginate
Ammonium Alginate is the ammonium salt of Alginic Acid.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help formula ingredients bind together and maintain their form, keep water-and-oil emulsions from separating, and form a thin film on the skin, hair, or nail surface after application.[2] It is also used to control the viscosity and flow of formulas.[2]
