About Aluminum Isostearates/Myristates

Aluminum Isostearates/Myristates are aluminum salts of a mixture of isostearic acid and myristic acid.[1] In cosmetics, they are used to help powder ingredients flow evenly without forming clumps, keep emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, and reduce light transmission so the contents appear less visible. They are also used to adjust the viscosity and flow of formulas.[2] [2]
