Alpha-Terpinene is a fragrance ingredient used to add or adjust a product’s scent or flavor.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to add fragrance or adjust the characteristic odor of raw materials.[4] In Korea, α-Terpinene with a peroxide value exceeding 10 mmol/L cannot be used in cosmetics.[2] In Europe, only raw materials with a peroxide value below 10 mmol/L may be used.[3]
