About Almondamidopropyl Betaine

Almondamidopropyl Betaine is a zwitterion and a fatty acid obtained from almond oil.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to reduce static that causes hair strands to lift or stick together, help sebum and impurities wash away with water, and increase the amount of foam and help it persist. It is also used to reduce tangling and a rough feel for smooth hair conditioning, smooth and soften the skin's surface, and adjust the viscosity and flow of a formulation.[2] [2]
