About Almondamide DEA

Almondamide DEA is a mixture of ethanolamides of fatty acids obtained from almond oil.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to increase the amount of foam and help prevent it from collapsing easily, as well as to adjust the viscosity and flow of the formula.[3] In Europe, the secondary amine content of the finished product is limited to a maximum of 0.5%, and nitrosamine content must not exceed 50 μg/kg.[2]
