About Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol Crosspolymer

Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol Crosspolymer is a copolymer of adipic acid and neopentyl glycol crosslinked with isopropyltriethoxysilane.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help powder ingredients flow evenly without clumping, reduce perspiration, and help the ingredients in a formulation bind together to maintain its form.[2] It is also used to increase formulation volume, adjust the amount of solids, reduce the prominence of unpleasant odors, and control viscosity and flow.[2]
