About Acrylates Crosspolymer-4

Acrylates Crosspolymer-4 is a polymer in which Trimethylolpropane Triacrylate is cross-linked with one of Acrylic Acid, Methacrylic Acid, or one of their simple esters.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help keep emulsions of water and oil from separating readily, to form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application, and to lower surface tension so ingredients wet, mix, and spread evenly.[2] It is also used to adjust the viscosity and flow of the formula.[2]
