Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer is a copolymer of one or more monomers consisting of one or more simple esters or acrylic acid or methacrylic acid and C10-30 alkyl acrylate, cross-linked with allyl ether of sucrose or allyl ether of pentaerythritol.[1] In cosmetics, it is used to help prevent emulsions of water and oil from separating easily, form a thin film on the surface of the skin, hair, or nails after application, and adjust a formula's viscosity and flow.[2]
